Municipal sport complex

El proyecto está dividido en dos fases: la primera consiste en la construcción del polideportivo cubierto y la modificación de la acera existente; La segunda fase corresponde a todas las mejoras de las instalaciones contiguas a la cancha y cafetería existente.

On the second phase occur the most significant intervention of outdoor spaces. The removing of the wall and the existing enclosure court allow the creation of gabions stands inviting the users to sit and watch the games. A ramp path that allow the necessary accessibility to the stands, and two stairs connect the two levels, the multipurpose building and the inferior level with the playground and cafeteria.

The project works with natural materials, rocks for the gabions, wood in the playground an in the enclosure of the complex.

As far as vegetation is concerned, olives trees are preserved, and we use Mediterranean vegetation adapted to the Tivissa’s climate. The vegetation is placed strategically to give comfort that can be maintained all year.
