Hohen Neuendorf urban center

A new centrality to Hohen- Neuendorf. This zone has a peripheral development far from the big city, but the value of this zone is the landscape. The proposal is to create a new centrality strengthening the forestall character. New uses integrate with the urban landscape as a forest. The forest clearings appear giving spaces to new buildings or exterior uses.

Public spaces are contained in the new buildings protected from the traffic noise. Two squares and public pools are designed.

The wood is the unifying element on a territorial scale, giving a vegetal continuity as a green corridor. Additionally, the wood function as a protection buffer from the train tracks.

The result is a new centrality that honors its landscape and offers services and rooms, for all the citizens. The improvement of green public and private spaces creates a strong structure and will have the potential for futures developments.
