Contest: Third prize

The proposed building integrates the vegetation on its roofs to create a viewpoint walk.

From the landscape point of view, the premises for this contest start from a global reflection of the landscape to give an adequate response to the implementation of the new building and the quality of the outdoor spaces created.

The French Lycée imitates the design of the university campuses, a set of buildings separated by wide spaces where the vegetation provides shade and comfort.

After the global analysis of the landscape and its relationship with the existing building, the project seeks to give students a large space on the rooftops, which works as a lookout-connector and which perfectly integrates the demanded uses. In addition, this large landscaped roof will improve the climatic conditions of the building and act as a new access door for students.

Improvement plan of landscape heritage:
1. Sick and senescent trees.
2. Trees improvement Masterplan.
3. Erosion problems in Non vegetated slopes.
4. Entrances and playgrounds.
5. Pergolas in poor conditions.
6. Limits and slopes.
