The levels define the different uses of this hotel.
The main idea was creating several platforms that defined different spaces and separated the uses. The platforms allow to give some privacy and organize the different uses for the benefits of the hotel's guests. Each space or platform is articulated with an accessible path that connects them all with the buildings.
Four differentiated zones: The entrance and atrium, the restaurant terrace and exuberant garden, the solarium pool, the family pool, and the kids zone. The difference of heights between the platforms is used to create a step that complements the pool bar terrace and gives a continuity among the spaces but can be used as well as a sitting area.
We decided to use a profuse and varied of vegetation creating different atmospheres on the exterior zones.
The use of Mediterranean vegetation seeks to provide color and play with the sun and shadows zones increasing the thermal comfort of the users. The central space by being surrounding of the buildings, we proposed a more exuberant vegetation to create a fresher micro-climate and offer the users an alternative to the summer sun.
